Alien (1979) Flight Suit

I recreated the flight suit worn by Sigourney Weaver in Alien (1979). The suit used in the film is a G-4B flight suit with the bladder system removed. To create this costume I used the Simplicity 8722 pattern with added pockets, functional zippers, and appliques. I dyed denim for the main fabric and added a lining. I added hardware painted with enamel to a pair of shoes. The watch is a mix of 3D printed pieces and Casio watch parts.
